is a pharmaceutical stress testing?
Pharmaceutical
stress testing is when your doctor has determined to stress your heart by medicine
instead of using exercise. The medicine, either Dobutamine, Adenosine or
Persantine, will help determine if your heart is getting an adequate amount of
blood, to function your body properly.
Are
there any special preparations
for this test?
There are
several preparations for this test. It is extremely important that you check with
your physician prior to the test to determine what medication he/she does not
want you to take as well as any further instructions.
