LPN ENDOSCOPY - FUTURE POSITION

Expecting Full Time day shift LPN position to become available in Endoscopy.

This position will also cross into Wound Care and ASA. This position will perform duties associated with intake and scopes in Endoscopy and all Wound Care processes. Experience strongly preferred; BLS required.

On-call rotation with 30 minute response time.

CHAPLAIN - PRN

The PRN chaplain provides pastoral care for all areas of the hospital including patients, families, and associates. The PRN chaplain is the hospital liaison for organ donation and is responsible for responding to call codes, emergencies, and traumas as well as any other request for pastoral care. 

The person selected for this position must be available to be on-call (scheduled in advance) must carry the pager when on call and be able to arrive at the medical center within 30 minutes.); He/she must be a member in good standing of a church or another recognized faith tradition; The chaplain provides a ministry of presence to others and will be required to function in crisis situations that are fast-paced and stressful.

The ideal candidate will be a person of faith, integrity, stability, and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, ensuring quality, safety, and manage proper use of time. They will promote excellence of patient care and be ready to explain Advance Directives, DNR designation, code status, organ and tissue donation and end of life concerns. He/she will be courteous to all patrons and help resolve their problems to their satisfaction. They will promote the Medical Center and promote high patient and associate morale.

Although our chaplains serve primarily from a broadly Christian perspective, our chaplains are also trained to provide pastoral care to persons from other faiths as well as those people who do not consider themselves religious or spiritual.

Hospital-wide orientation and departmental training will be provided for this position. A college degree and clinical pastoral education training preferred, as well as training in pastoral ministry, counseling, crisis intervention and/or social services.

This position requires working Weekends, Holidays, On-Call

RN HOME HEALTH

Full-time Home Health opportunity for experienced RN. Position will work Monday-Friday, primarily 8am-5pm, with call rotation every 3rd weekend. Schedule discussed in more detail during interview. This position is required to travel extensively.

Responsibilities include delivering RN nursing care to patients who are rehabilitating, managing chronic conditions or are in the end stage of life. The RN position involves significant nursing responsibility for patient care and helps make a positive impact on patients served and the organization.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Active & current RN licensure
  • Current CPR or BLS certification
  • One year of RN nursing experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer service, quality of care and productivity competencies
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Strong RN nursing competencies, including clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, infection control, physiological knowledge, administering medication, health promotion and maintenance, case management and documentation
  • Valid Driver’s/Chauffeurs license and auto liability insurance coverage
