Southeastern Med capped off the 2018 National Volunteer Week with a special dinner Tuesday evening to celebrate the service of our dedicated volunteers. The meal was served by the hospital management team and all hospital departments honored the volunteers throughout the week of April 15-21.

Pictured: Denise Phillips, Southeastern Med, proudly stands with the Lifeline of Ohio Donor Quilt.
Lifeline of Ohio Donor Memorial Quilts connect the past to the present, honoring donation heroes whose single gift may have saved eight lives and/or healed the lives of 50 others through organ, eye and tissue donation.
Donor families create memory squares and include pictures of their loved ones, quotes and meaningful symbols, making each panel unique. Individual donors featured on the twelve Lifeline of Ohio Donor Quilts have offered others the chance to survive and improve the quality of their lives as an organ or tissue transplant recipient.
Southeastern Med is pleased to honor the heroes of donation by displaying this quilt in its lobby. Each Lifeline of Ohio Donor Quilt is a visual testament to the human spirit that embodies organ and tissue donation.
