Southeastern Med values our patient and family feedback. We use this information to continually review opportunities to improve the patient experience and share our positive survey results and compliments with our dedicated staff to reassure them in their daily efforts.
All acute care hospitals throughout the United States participate in a patient survey process designed and regulated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The HCAHPS survey (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) measures the patient's perception of their hospital care. Public results are available at http://www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov. Eligible adult patients are surveyed after hospital discharge. If you receive a survey in the mail, we encourage you to complete it to let us know what we are doing well and where we have opportunities for improvement.
