Special Services
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care provides 24-hour chaplain availability, regardless of religious
affiliation. If your church affiliation was given upon admission, your pastor
has been notified of your admission to Southeastern Med. You may request individual pastoral care by
asking your nurse for assistance.
A chapel is available on the first floor of the west tower.
Aid for the Hearing Impaired
Amplified telephones and interpreters are available for patients and family
members who are hearing-impaired. Please ask your nurse for assistance.
Foreign Language Translators
Some foreign language, translator assistance, is available. Please ask your nurse
for assistance.
Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are welcome. Prior to the dog's visit, please speak to the nurse
providing your care.
Organ Donor
Information about organ and tissue donation is available upon request, please
ask your nurse or call pastoral care at 740-439-8190.
Notary Public
Notary Public services are available within the medical center. For more
information, contact your nurse.
