You don’t have to travel outside the Cambridge area for quality cancer services. You’ll find all the care you need right here at Southeastern Med. Our recent acquisition of the Cambridge Regional Cancer Center enables us to provide treatment and surgery for all types of cancer, including:

Our cancer treatment program is unique for a community hospital. Not only do we perform cancer surgery, we also deliver radiation therapy and chemotherapy. We offer these services so the people who live in our community don’t have to incur the physical and financial hardships of traveling long distances for cancer treatment.

We also provide a wide range of cancer support services, including prevention education, cancer screenings, and cancer support groups. For more information about Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Centers cancer services, resources and annual caseloads, please visit our page on the Commission on Cancer (CoC) website.

Southeastern Med even maintains a cancer registry that houses data on types and stages of cancers and treatment results, as well as clinical trials and cutting-edge treatment options.

Our multi-disciplinary cancer team will be with you for every step of this life-long journey, from diagnosis and treatment to recovery and ongoing follow-up.

Southeastern Med's Cancer Program is accredited by the Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. There are only 1500 CoC-accredited cancer programs in the United States and Puerto Rico. These programs are concerned with the full continuum of cancer care — including prevention, survivorship and end-of-life care. The NAPBC is a consortium of national professional organizations focused on breast health and dedicated to the improvement of quality outcomes for patients with diseases of the breast through evidence-based standards and patient and professional education.
