The Care You Need, the Home Feel You Want

The cancer treatment program here at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center is truly unique for a community hospital, offering patients everything from precautionary cancer screenings to surgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology—including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy. Having these services available closer to home makes a world of difference for the people in our community, and it’s why we’re proud to be opening a new, state-of-the-art cancer center here in Cambridge in 2020. This will double the size of our current facility, giving our team even more capacity for treating a wide range of cancers, including:

  • Breast Cancer
  • Cervical Cancer
  • Colorectal Cancer
  • Lung Cancer
  • Prostate Cancer
  • Skin Cancer

We also treat Leukemia, Blood Cancer, and other blood disorders.

World Class Services, Close to Home

The Southeastern Med cancer program has been accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) for over 30 years, and remains one of just 1,500 programs in the nation to have that distinction. We’re also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). These honors are based not just on our surgical and treatment services, but our specialized cancer support services, including prevention education, screenings, and the specialized care options below:

Surgery at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center

It can also be a great relief to patients to know that they don’t need to travel to Columbus or Cleveland for advanced, cancer related surgery. Instead, you can stay close to family and friends during the procedure and recovery process, all while under the care of highly experienced surgeons, physicians, and nurses.
