We partner with WorkPro to help Guernsey County and Cambridge area employees get back to work. Whether it's helping you recover from an injury or work-related illness, or creating work to adapt to an injury, Southeastern Med is committed to helping you do what you do best.

Our therapists work in partnership with the staff at WorkPro in providing services to area employers. These services include Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), Ergonomic Assessment & Training, Work Conditioning, Post-offer screens and Ergonomic workstation evaluations.

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)
A FCE is a two-day exam that objectively identifies the current physical capabilities of an injured worker. This information can then be used by caseworkers, employers and doctors to determine return to work capabilities.

Ergonomic Assessment & Training
An ergonomic analysis is performed of a particular job to identify potential hazards that may lead to a work-related injury.

Work Conditioning
This program usually lasts between four and eight weeks and consists of a daily therapy program beginning at one hour per day and may increase up to four hours per day. The goal of the program is to improve the injured workers overall physical capacity and expedite return to work.

Post-Offer Screens
A post-offer screen is a physical test that is performed to a potential new hire and simulates the physical demands of the job that has been offered to them. A job analysis is required in developing the screen.

Ergonomic Workstation Evaluations, Functional Job Analysis And Job Description
A job analysis will identify the physical demands of a particular job title. This objectifies what the employee is required to do to perform the job and is summarized with a Functional Job Description.
