Cambridge, Ohio – Due to increasing cases of COVID-19 in the area, Southeastern Med will temporarily be adjusting our visitor policy. To ensure the health and safety of patients, associates and their families. These restrictions went into effect on Wednesday, November 18 at 8am. Changes are as follows:
- Emergency Room patients are currently not permitted visitors unless they are caretakers, minors, or it is an end-of-life situation.
- Outpatients are allowed visitors as long as those visitors maintain social distance and mask-wearing in the waiting areas.
- In-patients are permitted one registered visitor for the duration of their stay. Visiting hours are from 8 am until 7 pm.
- Surgery patients are permitted one visitor. Visitors are to stay in the waiting area, with a mask on and properly social distanced.
Our physician’s offices are temporarily restricting patients and visitors in the waiting rooms.. Patients should call the office when they arrive and the office staff will guide them on next steps. Signs are being placed on office doors and in parking lots to assist.
We know that these restrictions can be difficult, but we do appreciate your help in keeping our community safe as we move through this surge in COVID cases.
